Aishwarya Lekshmi (born September 6, 1990) is an Indian actress, doctor and model known for her work in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu cinema. She began her career in modeling, featuring on magazine covers and ad campaigns, before making her acting debut with Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela (2017).
Her breakthrough performance came in Mayaanadhi (2017), where she portrayed an aspiring actress, earning her the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Malayalam. She followed this with performances in films like Varathan (2018), Vijay Superum Pournamiyum (2019), Big Brother (2019), and Kumari (2022). In Tamil cinema, Aishwarya gained recognition with films like Gatta Kusthi (2022), Gargi (2022) and Mani Ratnam’s historical epic Ponniyin Selvan series (2022–2023), where she played Poonguzhali, a pivotal character.
